Somethin’s a brewin’

There are so many breweries here in Portland. They’re really more than just pubs though. The Bridgeport Brewery (where we went tonight) has something called Science Pub, put on by OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). A guest lecturer comes and speaks (leads a discussion) on a particular topic. The upcoming talk is on stem cell research (Jan 29th).
The food isn’t so bad either…though we opted to skip the ‘beeramisu’. We’re really just wading into the water at this point.
